FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Hampel Corporation names Lewis Anderson as National Sales Manager

GERMANTOWN, Wis. (February 12, 2008) - Lewis B. Anderson Jr. has been named National Sales Manager of Calf-Tel Products, a division of Hampel Corp. "We recognized the need for a top-caliber performer to not only help sell product but to assist in Calf-Tel's on going mission to be a resource within the industry," said Hampel President Paul Lorge. "Lewis' experience in calf management and customer service will make him a vital part of the future success of Calf-Tel and our customers' operations."

Anderson has more than 30 years of extensive calf-raising and dairy herd management experience. Prior to joining Hampel, Anderson served as the director of operations for Calf Source, a 10,000 head calf-raising facility. There he supervised 50 employees and implemented the first ever ISO 14001:2004 certification for a calf ranch. Before that, Anderson was with Joseph Gallo Farms, managing 25,000 head, from day old to springers. At Joseph Gallo Farms, Atwater, Calif., Anderson was instrumental in lowering the operation's calf mortality and morbidity rates. Much of the success he attributes to moving calves into Calf-Tel hutches instead of the wood pens, plus a dedication to disease control and cleanliness.

As an advocate of quality calf care, Anderson has been an active member of the Dairy Calf and Heifer Association (DCHA), Dairy Business Association of Wisconsin, the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Johnes Advisory Committee. Plus he has been part of the Dairy Quality Assurance Program for the past six years. Anderson also has served as a keynote speaker at several local and national meetings and events, including World Dairy Expo.

"We're excited to have Lewis on board," says Lorge. "He'll be working with the Calf-Tel team, building a strong functional foundation to help our customers handle the rigorous demands of calf-raising. We're also revamping our web site to be a relevant source of calf-raising information, plus we'll be getting even more involved in the marketplace, providing our knowledge and management tools to help advance the overall dairy industry."

Hampel Corp. began as a custom manufacturer of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts in 1976, and over time, using thermoforming and engineering expertise, has "molded" its future into a diversified global plastics manufacturer. The company began serving the agricultural industry in 1981 with the introduction of Calf-Tel. As a testament to its innovative engineering and quality, 99% of the original hutches are still in use today. Hampel Corp. uses a unique thermoforming manufacturing process, along with the highest quality polyethylene plastic, to achieve unmatched strength, durability and product longevity.
